The Texas Chapter will meet in Uvalde, Texas for our 2014 Fall Chapter Meeting and Continuing Education. We will be offering a two-day seminar entitled New Factors Affecting Rural Land: Agricultural Research, Mapping Systems, Water Development and Condemnation Law. The Program Committee, led by President-Elect John Hodges, ARA, has put together a program with multiple speakers.
A block of rooms have been reserved at the Hampton Inn & Suites. Double Queen rooms are $94/night and King rooms are $99/night. Please ask for the Texas Chapter ASFMRA block. Reservations must be made by Monday, September 22, 2014. The hospitality suite will be located in this hotel.
The seminar will be hosted in the Uvalde Civic Center, just up the road from the hotel. On Thursday evening, we will host the Texas Chapter dinner. The Texas Chapter membership meeting will be after dinner which will include the Officer and Director Installation for 2015.
