Nathan Tonne is a certified general real estate appraiser and real estate sales agent with Bierschwale Land Company, LLC, based in Junction, Texas. Nathan has experience across varying property types within the state of Texas, and expertise with litigation-based support, eminent domain proceedings and other valuation issues. Nathan holds the Accredited Rural Appraiser (ARA) designation from the American Society of Farms Managers and Rural Appraisers and the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute. Nathan has served as a Director for the Texas Chapter. Nationally, Nathan has served on the ASFMRA Nominating Committee, the Appraisal Education & Accreditation Committee, and the YPN Leadership Committee. He is also an approved ASFMRA Instructor. Nathan is a graduate of Texas A&M University with degrees in Agribusiness and Land Economics and Real Estate. He resides in Junction with his wife, Ashley, and 3 children.

Travis is a Senior Appraiser with AgTrust Farm Credit, headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas. Travis is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in both Texas and Oklahoma and holds the Accredited Rural Appraiser (ARA) designation from the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers. He is also a Candidate for Designation (MAI) through the Appraisal Institute.
With over 15 years of experience, Travis has completed valuation assignments across a wide range of property types throughout Texas and Oklahoma, with a primary focus on North and East Texas. His areas of expertise include large timber tracts, conservation easements, improved and unimproved farms and ranches, acreage home sites, rural residential properties, and transitional land. His work includes both internal appraisal reports and appraisal reviews, along with regular consultation services for lending staff and customers.
Travis has a significant history of professional involvement with the ASFMRA. He has served a two-year term as a Director for the Texas Chapter, completed a three-year term on the Education and Accreditation Committee, graded demonstration reports, and is approved as a national instructor for several core ASFMRA courses.
Travis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness from Tarleton State University and has completed a Master of Legal Studies in Real Estate and Construction Law from Texas A&M University School of Law. He and his wife, Holly, reside in Alba, Texas, with their two children.

Michael Mays is a partner at Kokel-Oberrender-Wood Appraisal, Ltd. based in Georgetown, Texas. Kokel-Oberrender-Wood Appraisal has extensive experience in litigation valuation for eminent domain proceedings, bankruptcy, tax-related matters, divorce and other litigation involving real estate valuation issues. In addition, the firm conducts appraisals for a wide variety of financial institutions related to asset evaluation for loan and portfolio management. Consultation and valuation services are also provided to investors and trusts for real estate investment and management decisions.
Michael was raised in McCulloch and San Saba Counties on a family ranching operation. He graduated from Brady High School and attended Hardin Simmons University where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science in 2000. Mr. Mays went on to earn a Master's Degree in Land Economics and Real Estate from Texas A&M University in 2003 and began working at Kokel-Oberrender-Wood Appraisal after graduating. Mike is licensed in Texas as both a State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser and a Real Estate Broker. In addition, Mr. Mays holds the Accredited Rural Appraiser (ARA) designation conferred by the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers as well as the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute. He also currently serves on the board of the Foundation Appraisers Coalition of Texas (FACT) as Vice President.

Carmen Bierschwale is an Affiliate member of ASFMRA and has served as the Secretary/Treasurer for the Texas Chapter since 2010. She is also the Office Manager for Bierschwale Land Company, LLC, a family owned and operated company located in Junction, Texas. Carmen manages the Texas Chapter out of her office in Junction.
Carmen graduated from Texas A&M University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics. She is married to Justin Bierschwale and together they have three kids.
