About ASFMRA

The Texas Chapter of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA) was chartered in 1978 as an affiliate of the national organization. The Texas Chapter is a non-profit 501(c)(6) corporation. It supports the educational, ethical and professional standards set by national.

The object of the Chapter is to promote, without profit to itself, the professions of farm management and rural appraisal by holding meetings for the exchange of ideas, by conducting schools and other devices for disseminating information, by building and maintaining a code of business and professional ethics, and by other means approved by the Board of Directors.

Members of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers are uniquely qualified to meet the complex challenges of modern agriculture. ASFMRA is the nation’s premier organization of professionals who adhere to exceptionally high standards for education, ethics and performance in appraisal and management of agricultural properties, and consulting for agribusiness. The Texas Chapter is one of 31 chapters affiliated with the national organization.
